New DFPI Website: We redesigned our website to better serve Californians. On the new site, you can take advantage of a new consumer hub for resources and information around relevant topic areas. You can now search for information on financial topics and a company you’d like to do business with in one place. You’ll still access the homepage at dfpi.ca.gov, but be sure to check your bookmarks, as lots of links inside the site have changed.
Sigue Claims Update: Consumers with unpaid money order or money transmission transactions with Sigue Corporation can now file a claim for a refund. Instructions are provided in English and Spanish.

DFPI imposter asking for account information – We issued a consumer alert about scammers fraudulently contacting consumers claiming they have recovered funds related to a DFPI investigation.
BlockFi’s License Revoked – We revoked crypto lender BlockFi’s California Financing Law (CFL) license. BlockFi’s bankruptcy plan administrator recently announced that it has recovered sufficient assets to make all customers whole.
Trage Technologies Enforcement Order – We issued a desist and refrain order against crypto scheme Trage Technologies for offering and selling unqualified securities. Share this video to help others stay safe from investment fraud.
